Why Qbee?
___________________

I like how it sounds..

Tell me a little about your business and how this all started?
________________________________________________________________

I've had an interest in luxury jewellery since my childhood. I grow up with it. I used to draw imaginary sketches in my mind. They all remanded on the pepper for many years until one day I was able to put them into life.
My hobby became my work. I set up my own business.
I have a very creative team. While travelling abroad we picked up antique pieces here and there. And thus it build up quite a collection. It gave us more inspiration and ideas. These antique pieces are just for collecting because they bear the fate of their owners.

Who were you key influences growing up?
_________________________________________

The antique jewellery had a big impact on my collections. Unlike cold and common high-tack design Queensbee jewellery differs by it warms, old tradition and unusual combinations.

What type of education/skills did you need for this business?
___________________________________________________________________

This business takes qualification in Arts and Gemmology to be good at stones.
But nothing can replace awareness of style and harmony in pieces of art.
And the most important thing is to get a thrill out of what you are doing. I was born with it. I've always been fashion conscious. I spent a lot time looking for outstanding accessories, pieces of art, paintings, clothes.
You can find beautiful and extremely expansive pieces of jewellery at actions and height street shops, but market doesn't offer affordable product of unique design. So I decided to lounge my own line of jewellery with attach of vintage with a variety of colours to go with any outfit.

How did you make it a success?
_________________________________

The are three main things to bee successful. Thirst thing is dedication.
Second thing is to be ambitious and to be determined no matter what.
And finally and the most important thing is to have a highly skilled team fully involved in the project sharing the same goals.

What do you think you needed to do to get where you are now?
_____________________________________________________________

Being open for new opportunities, being adaptable.

Who did you look up to? Are there any Russian influence in your work?
________________________________________________________________________

Influences include Visantian, Renaissance, Etruscan
While creating our collection we also wanted to reflect Victorian style, to give an up-to-date look to the Victorian period jewellery which incorporates the most varied and eclectic motifs.
We echoed the features of French Renaissanse  of the mid 19-th centuries(sculpture details at the shoulders of the rings, figurative style)

In our collections we use elements of ancient Russian art, repeating Visantian style. In this sense it dominates our jewelry style. Cabochons in a setting of the small pearls, color combinations (red, green, blue - like at the front of St.Basil's cathedral on Red Square in Moscow), Visantian ornaments.
It results in eclectic combinations of colors and styles.

Plans
________

I'm working on a silver collection of 2009Nyt idea of this new collection is to reach wider segment of clients by making the prices more reasonable and thus more affordable. I'm planning to expand my business to Western Europe and Russia.
